The conference is conceived with the format of a workshop, where participants are encouraged to take part in informal discussions and scientific debates. The program includes 11 invited and keynote speakers, 60 contributed papers (of which 20 are extended 20-minute-talks and 40 are regular talks, 15 minutes long). Around 2x18 posters will be presented at two poster sessions on Monday and Wednesday evening. At the press date, the number of registered participants exceeded 120.
Sessions will be organized on:
Quantum cascade lasers (Monday & Tuesday)
AlGa Nitride based Intersubband systems (Monday)
Quantum Dot Intersubband systems (Tuesday)
Quantum Well Spectroscopy (Tuesday)
THz sources (Wednesday)
Detectors (Thursday)
Short Wavelength Intersubband transitions (Thursday)
Novel Phenomena (Thursday)
Superlattices, and Bloch Oscillators (Friday)
Non-linear Optics (Friday)
Silicon/Germanium based intersubband systems (Friday)
All the presentations and posters will be collected for distribution on a CD and the internet. This allows us to generate a unique document, containing the most recent results on intersubband physics and devices including, to some extent, as yet unpublished data.
For details of the program see the download folder: program.pdf and poster.pdf.
A htm. version of the program with the abstracts to download will be uploaded on this side soon.
